We currently have an opening for Diagnostic Engineer within Aftermarket Technology – Diagnostic Engineering team in Lyon, France. Diagnostic Engineers are on the forefront of the Aftermarket group’s projects and participate in early design decisions, recommend and support strategic decisions affecting our products. You will work according to Scaled Agile Framework methodology (SAFe). In this environment, you will have the responsibility to manage the complete chain from development to verification and validation of diagnostic content.
In this role, you will first analyze and gather product and project information to design new diagnostic strategies with two main objectives: customer focus and maximize uptime
You will also assist the team to create virtual test rigs and design models to automate verification and validation of diagnostic content.

Our diagnostic team today consists of highly competent and engaged colleagues working within team project coordination, requirements, diagnostic methods, tests and calibrations and diagnostic strategies for supporting workshop technicians around the globe.

- MSc or similar within Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering
- Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindset
- Capacity to read and understand electrical schematics
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience as Product Specialist in close contact with our customers/workshops
- Experience with heavy duty product development, vehicle repair, diagnostics and maintenance
- Experience in using software tools like CANalyzer, CANoe
- Programming skills (Python, Java, C++, etc.)
- Experience in working with International /Inter-Cultural teams
