PTC Business Analyst/Application Support
Role Mission:

A Support Team Adherent is specifically assigned to one of the process roles, e.g. Action Owner and then has the responsibility for the proper handling of an Incident and Questions according to PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) and some VPLM (Virtual Product Lifecycle Management) 3DS (Dassault Systemes – Catia V5) Maintenance adaptations of the Handle Incidents Process and Handle Questions process. Supporting the user community of the Vehicle Development, Customer Engineering and Virtual Manufacturing business areas.
  • Register an Incident or Question, analyze and try to solve Incidents that either has picked from SNOW (Service Now – Incident Manager) or has been assigned to, if needed by help from colleagues globally
  • Escalate the Service Request to someone else in the Team or to next Support Level if needed
  • Responsible to escalate cases according to their impact to the Support Team Manager
  • Responsible to register Defects and assist in writing Change Requests
  • Needs to be very strong on the PTC CREO workbenches
  • Achieve the service level quality stated in coordination with the support team leader
Required Competencies:
Excellent PTC Knowledge of:
  • Volvo Maintenance of Process: Global Projects, Handle Incidents and Problems
  • CREO Parametrics Standards, Modelling Guidelines, Drawing Guidelines, Packaging and Visualization, PDMLink and Creo View
  • The applications and solutions (delivered methods) which the Support Team supports
  • The Environment for Specific customer
  • Volvo End User Methods
  • GGR - Global Governing Rules
  • Business Processes, Best Practices and Guidelines
  • Other products, then Creo Parametrics and PDMLink, within PTC portfolio
  • Request and Change Request routine
  • Awareness of Catia V5 best practices and guidelines
General Knowledge of:
  • Knowledge of the Group IT support organisation structure
  • Knowledge of Kola Logic or Product Configuration Manager
  • 4 year degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 4-5 years CAD Experience
