The aluminium castings team is a team of passionate and driven colleagues located in Europe (Lyon, France and Goteborg, Sweden).

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Key responsibilities will be to support buyers’ team with following activities:
  • Cost reduction ideas generation (deep dive and portfolio analysis)
  • Prepare cross functional work with other functions (engineering, logistic, manufacturing) to implement such ideas
  • Assist in commercial negotiations with suppliers
  • Support the Sourcing plan for components & systems according to cross-functional time plans
  • Contribute to all relevant activities to deliver on QDCFTSR (*) targets during Sourcing and/or Project phase together with buyers from the team
  • Monitor, identify and mitigate risks
  • Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers.
  • Support Segment Leader in building strategies in this area, by being part of the early phase investigations with our engineering teams
  • Work in close cooperation with all buyers on this scope
  • Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, coaching buyers when relevant, sharing good cases and ask for support when needed

You are following a engineering or business school academic training, targeting a Master of Science or Business Administration, you are fluent in english,
Former experience in Purchasing, technical background and automotive experience are considered as assets
