Volvo Group Real Estate is an integrated function in the Volvo Group, with strategic and operational responsibility for the Group’s properties and real estate assets as well as for facility management. We are responsible for the entire property lifecycle, from acquisition to divestment. We optimize the use and value of the Volvo Group's facilities, owned and leased. We act as a center of expertise, generating economies of skill and scale in the real estate area. The Volvo Group values are our guiding stars in everything we do, e.g. develop an attractive workplace for the Volvo Group’s employees worldwide. We are approximately 350 employees supporting Volvo Group in 60 countries worldwide. Our property footprint consists of some 1000 sites from all the different Business Areas, Truck Divisions and Group Functions. We manage all types of properties: dealers, workshops, offices, warehouses, production facilities and more.
In Gothenburg, Volvo Group Real Estate is leading the Campus Lundby program, creating a unique center for development of transport solutions. Campus Lundby will be characterized by openness and room for internal as well as external partnerships, and thereby take an active part in the development of the City of Gothenburg.
Volvo Group Future Workplace (VGFW) is the concept we use within Volvo Group when it comes to office workspaces. It's about creating the best workplaces for our employees. All new offices we build worldwide use this concept. The concept of course includes nice modern furniture, but it is a lot more than that! It is about how we cooperate within the Volvo group, how to become more efficient, flexible and agile! And maybe most important, how we as a real estate function contributes to make the Volvo Group the most admired employer in our industry. As you can understand, for an employer with more than 100 000 employees, this is an area with a booming demand. We therefore need to strengthen our VGFW organization. Does it sound interesting?
You will be responsible to drive the VGFW area within Volvo together with a team of experts. You and the team will develop and secure the very best solutions for workplaces for office areas globally within the Volvo Group. Our six divisions are responsible for driving the actual building projects, while you and the team supports them in the initial face of a project. This includes understanding how the office works today, and how it should work tomorrow, supporting the change journey for the employees and also measure how well we succeeded in creating a modern and supporting environment.
But, it is also about development of the VGFW concept and securing the cooperation with our suppliers within the VGFW area.
One of the most important part is the support to our divisions, making sure they have the expert knowledge needed to deliver a successful project. You and the team is also responsible for the internal marketing of the VGFW concept; you will meet many of our executives to present the VGFW concept.
Other companies do a similar journey as Volvo Group within this area, the team is responsible for external benchmark, and making sure we have the knowledge and know the trends within the area.

To be successful in your new job we want you have the following knowledge/experience:
  • You have good experience from similar real estate organization or in a consulting company within the field of Workplace Management, Activity Based Working and concept development
  • You have previous experiences from working as a leader and an extensive knowledge in project management
  • You have worked with a tough change agenda and value change as something important to stay ahead
  • You also have an adequate university degree, great communication skills in English, spoken and written
