Intern, QES

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:

  • Understands and implement of VOLVO safety and environment policies, procedures and standards, requirements, and national /local regulations.

  • Assist SE supervisor to maintain and improve current hazard register system;

  • Assist SE supervisor to prepare safety month activities;

  • Assist SE supervisor to maintain and update current legal compliance system;

  • Assist safety coordinator in PPE management (PPE matrix development, PPE training and follow up)

  • Improve existing safety inspection checklist and participate in daily safety patrol;

  • Assist SE supervisor in conducting safety related training;

  • Assist SE supervisor in making monthly/weekly safety reports;

  • Participate in incident/ accident investigation and follow up;

  • Other task assigned by QES director;


Requirements:

  • Communication and wellness to learn;

  • English and computer skills;

  • Basic knowledge about Occupational safety & health management;

  • EHS related education background

  • Fluent English in reading, writing, listening and speaking
